Cream 1/4 lb Butter Add 1lb sugar, gratings of 1 lemon and 1/4 teaspoon lemon juice Mix in 4 egg yolks, beaten
Sift 5oz flour, 1/4 tsp soda and 1/4 salt.
Pour dry into wet and beat. Add beaten egg whites.
Bake at 300 for 30 min.
